On March 6, 2025, B. Braun Indonesia celebrated International Women's Day with the theme #EmpowerHerSmile.
The event took place at B. Braun Indonesia's Head Office in Jakarta, attended by over 130 employees in person and 45 employees online. This celebration coincided with the holy month of Ramadan, adding a spiritual and communal dimension to the activities.
The event began with a Health Talk focusing on dental and oral health, emphasizing that a smile symbolizes strength and happiness. Following this, the event continued with a corporate breakfasting, a communal iftar gathering for employees observing the fast. This moment not only strengthened camaraderie but also reflected Ramadan values such as togetherness and compassion.
To add to the festivities, a nasyid and best dress competition with the theme "Purple Modesty in Arabian Night" was held. These activities not only entertained but also fostered stronger bonds among employees.
Additionally, Dra. Hj. Ita Hilyati Tohir, MA from the Indonesian Ulema Council, delivered a Kultum (short sermon) on "The Special Role of Women in Islam," providing insights and inspiration on the significant roles women play in Islam.
With the theme #EmpowerHerSmile, B. Braun Indonesia is committed to continually supporting and empowering women in all aspects of life. This event also aimed to appreciate the dedication and hard work of female employees in realizing the company's vision to protect and improve public health. This appreciation was extended for their outstanding achievements and contributions.
