1839
Julius Wilhelm Braun acquired the Rose Pharmacy in Melsungen and expands it by starting a mail-order service for local herbal remedies.
1864
Bernhard Braun, Julius Wilhelm Braun's son, takes over the business and begins to manufacture pharmaceutical products. He registers B. Braun as a company in 1867.
1925
The first B. Braun production site in a foreign country is opened in Milan, Italy.
1980s
B. Braun initially established a presence in the Indonesian market by partnering with a local distributor to distribute its products.
1990
B. Braun joined agreement with a local distributor to established PT Buminusantara Bestariperkasa, which served as the sole distributor for B. Braun products in Indonesia.
2000
The company changed its named to PT B. Braun Medical Indonesia and became the subsidiary of B. Braun, headquartered in Germany. A representative office was also established in Jakarta to further solidify B. Braun's presence in Indonesia.

2013
B. Braun Indonesia held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction for its LVP manufacturing building in the Indotaise Industrial Estate, Kota Bukit Indah, Cikampek, Karawang, West Java.
2017
B. Braun Indonesia's LVP manufacturing facility in Cikampek, Karawang, West Java is inaugurated by the Indonesia's Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. dr. Nila Djuwita F. Moeloek accompanied by Member of the Management Board B. Braun Melsungen and President of B. Braun Asia Pacific, Anna Maria Braun.

2018
B. Braun Indonesia began commercial production at its Karawang LVP facility, advancing local manufacturing for critical healthcare needs. The first delivery in April 2019 marked a key step toward national self-sufficiency and patient care excellence.
2021
B. Braun Indonesia launched a newly rebuild training center, Aesculap Academy Skill Learning Center (AASLC) in Tabanan, Bali.
Previously known as Asia Pasific Surgical Training Center in 2005, this high-quality medical training uses innovative methods and the latest technologies to support the current needs of healthcare practitioners in Indonesia.
2024
B. Braun Indonesia has officially opened its new Technical Service facility in Cikampek, West Java.
This facility will provide faster, more efficient, and higher-quality after-sales service for medical equipment (including repairs, calibration, and spare parts replacement), and offer training for healthcare professionals on medical device operation and maintenance.
