Tabanan, December 15, 2025 — B. Braun Medical Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to advancing medical education in Indonesia by extending its partnership with PT Lembah Tanah Lot Permai (LTP) Bali International Training Development Center (BITDeC) until 2028. This extension marks a significant milestone, celebrating 15 years of strategic synergy since the establishment of the surgical training center in Tabanan in 2010.
The commemorative event, held at the Aesculap Academy Skill Learning Center (AASLC) in Tabanan, was attended by senior management from both organizations. The contract signing was conducted by Rainer Ruppel, President Director of B. Braun Medical Indonesia, and Asta Siswanto, Director of Nyanyi Bali representing LTP-BITDeC management. “We are proud to continue this collaboration. For 15 years, we have worked together to create a positive impact on medical education in Indonesia, and we remain committed to delivering innovation,” said Rainer Ruppel.
As a cornerstone of professional development for healthcare practitioners, Aesculap Academy Indonesia through AASLC has trained more than 15,000 healthcare professionals in over 200 training programs. Its flagship initiatives include hands-on workshops in basic surgical skills, e-learning on hand hygiene, and advanced minimally invasive surgery courses conducted in collaboration with international institutions and professional associations in Indonesia. The AASLC facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as laparoscopic systems and multidisciplinary training rooms, all designed to uphold patient safety principles. This commitment underscores Aesculap Academy’s role as a strategic partner in enhancing medical competencies across the country.
Over the past 15 years, this collaboration has delivered numerous surgical training programs that strengthen the skills of medical professionals. With the contract extended until 2028, both parties aim to broaden the scope of training and introduce cutting-edge technologies. “This partnership is not only about facilities, but about building a better future for healthcare services,” added Asta Siswanto.
To honor this long-standing journey of achievements, the event featured a traditional tumpeng cutting ceremony symbolizing unity and respect. It concluded with a group photo session, reflecting the spirit of collaboration that will continue.
Through this partnership, B. Braun Indonesia and LTP-BITDeC remain committed to delivering innovative solutions that support healthcare quality and the development of medical professionals in Indonesia. This synergy is expected to inspire other institutions to actively contribute to raising the standards of medical education nationwide.
