B. Braun Indonesia reinforced its commitment to supporting the national blood supply through the organization of a Blood Donor Day held at Tempo Scan Tower, Jakarta, on June 18, 2026. In collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) UTD Sukabumi Regency, the initiative successfully collected 146 blood units, contributing directly to the provision of essential resources for healthcare services.
Held in commemoration of World Blood Donor Day, the initiative reflects a proactive response to the ongoing demand for blood across healthcare facilities. Adequate blood availability remains a critical component in patient care, particularly in emergency situations as well as in medical treatments that require regular transfusions.
In addition to the blood donation activity, B. Braun Indonesia also provided a financial contribution of IDR 5,000,000 to PMI UTD Sukabumi Regency. This support is intended to assist operational activities and enhance the collection and distribution of blood to communities in need.
The activity was designed with a structured approach to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all donors, covering the entire process from registration and medical screening to the donation itself. This reflects B. Braun Indonesia’s commitment to delivering initiatives that not only create a meaningful social impact but also uphold a high standard of participant experience.
Through this initiative, B. Braun Indonesia reaffirms its role as a healthcare partner that contributes beyond medical solutions, actively supporting the broader healthcare ecosystem in Indonesia. The collaboration demonstrates how collective efforts can generate tangible impact and support critical healthcare needs.
