As part of its commitment to supporting the development of future pharmaceutical professionals, SMK EFARINA Purwakarta’s Pharmacy Department conducted an industrial visit to B. Braun Indonesia’s manufacturing facility in Cikampek, West Java on June 19, 2025. This initiative reflects B. Braun’s ongoing dedication to knowledge sharing and fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals with integrity and competence.
During the visit, students gained valuable insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), known locally as Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB). Through interactive sessions led by B. Braun professionals, the students were introduced to the company’s journey in Indonesia, its contributions to the national healthcare system, and the implementation of operational excellence across its production lines.
The visit also included a guided tour of the facility, covering key areas such as mixing and packaging. Each stage of the process was presented transparently, demonstrating how B. Braun ensures product quality through advanced technology and responsible business practices.
This activity not only enhanced the students’ technical understanding but also introduced them to the professional standards and quality principles that underpin the modern pharmaceutical industry. For B. Braun, this visit represents a tangible expression of its long-term commitment to vocational education and the preparation of skilled healthcare workers ready to meet future challenges.
In line with its Sharing Expertise philosophy, B. Braun continues to position itself as a strategic partner in building a sustainable healthcare ecosystem in Indonesia.
