Jakarta – More than 250 participants joined the B. Braun Charity Run 2025, held at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) on Sunday, October 5. Carrying the theme “Run for Our Planet”, the event invited B. Braun Indonesia employees and their families to run a 5K course as a symbol of their commitment to environmental awareness and healthy living.
This year’s event also featured a special category for children, encouraging younger generations to experience the joy of running while contributing to a meaningful cause.
“The running experience this year was truly special, as it allowed us to involve our families and broaden our understanding of environmental issues within the household,” said Rainer Ruppel, President Director of B. Braun Indonesia. “I hope this spirit continues to grow among all B. Braun Indonesia employees as part of our collective effort to protect the environment and improve public health.”
As part of its commitment to responsible event management, B. Braun Indonesia partnered with Wastehub to ensure proper waste handling throughout the event. All waste generated was sorted and processed for recycling, minimizing the environmental impact.
The event successfully raised IDR 75 million in donations, which will be allocated to support B. Braun Indonesia’s environmental programs, particularly those aimed at protecting nature and enhancing the health and well-being of Indonesian families.
Through initiatives like the Charity Run, B. Braun Indonesia continues to promote active community participation in creating healthy, inclusive, and environmentally impactful activities.
