As an expression of compassion, employees of B. Braun Indonesia, together with the B. Braun Indonesia Cooperative, initiated a fundraising effort to assist communities affected by natural disasters in Sumatra. This initiative was born out of empathy and a spirit of solidarity, reflecting the genuine care of the employees.
Within one week, the effort successfully raised IDR 25,000,000. The funds represent voluntary contributions from employees who believe that every act of kindness, no matter how small, can bring hope and encouragement to those striving to rebuild their lives.
The donation was handed over on December 23, 2025, at the headquarters of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in Central Jakarta. The contribution was presented by Linda Dwiyanti, representing the employees, and received by PMI Chairman Asep Juanda Sunarya. PMI was chosen as the distribution partner for its extensive volunteer network, organized logistics system, and proven experience in delivering emergency assistance swiftly and effectively. Currently, PMI remains active in Sumatra, providing essential support such as logistics, clean water, healthcare services, and temporary shelters for displaced communities.
Linda Dwiyanti stated, “We hope this donation can help ease the burden of our brothers and sisters in Sumatra and give them the strength to rise again.”
This initiative demonstrates that even small steps taken by individuals can create a significant impact. Through solidarity and compassion, the employees hope this effort will inspire others to join in supporting communities in need. Every contribution matters in the journey toward recovery and rebuilding lives.
