The spirit of healthy living and social responsibility came together once again through the successful implementation of B. Braun Charity Run 2026. Through its annual philanthropic initiative, B. Braun Indonesia invited the community to transform every step taken into a meaningful contribution toward building a brighter future for Indonesia’s next generation.
Held at Ragunan Zoo, Jakarta, on September 6, 2026, the event brought together more than 500 participants who joined both on-site and virtually under the theme “Stop Smoking, Start Running”. More than a running event, the initiative served as a platform for health education and social action, encouraging individuals and families to adopt healthier lifestyles while supporting efforts to improve educational opportunities for Indonesian children.
As part of the program, participants collectively worked toward unlocking a donation fund through the distance they completed. The donations raised through this shared achievement will be channeled into B. Braun Indonesia’s social responsibility initiatives focused on supporting education and improving opportunities for children across Indonesia.
The theme “Stop Smoking, Start Running” reflects B. Braun Indonesia’s commitment to promoting greater awareness of lung health, family well-being, and the importance of cultivating healthier habits. This message was reinforced through a series of Health Talk sessions covering lung health awareness and educational discussions on the harmful effects of smoking, not only for smokers themselves but also for those around them.
Following the educational sessions, participants took part in a family-friendly run designed to inspire healthier lifestyles through positive action. This year’s event featured a wider range of race categories, including 10K, 5K, Kids 500M, and Kids 100M, allowing participants of all ages to get involved. The introduction of children's categories further highlighted the importance of fostering healthy habits from an early age while encouraging young generations to embrace values of social responsibility.
This commitment aligns with B. Braun Indonesia’s broader efforts to promote a sustainable culture of health, both within the organization and throughout the wider community. Through collaboration involving employees, families, communities, and the public, the company aims to amplify the message of healthy living and extend its positive impact to more individuals across the country.
Antonia Enny Indrayanti, HR & Corporate Communication of B. Braun Indonesia, highlighted the importance of consistently cultivating positive habits that inspire broader societal change.
"Programs focused on health education and initiatives that encourage active community contribution are valuable commitments that must continue to be nurtured. We hope these positive habits will inspire families and their surrounding communities to embrace healthier lifestyles while becoming more engaged in creating meaningful social impact," said Enny.
The success of B. Braun Charity Run 2026 was made possible through the enthusiasm and dedication of all participants, including members of the B. Braun Indonesia Runners community who actively supported the company’s wellness initiatives. Their collective effort demonstrates how health promotion and social responsibility can work hand in hand to generate lasting benefits for society.
Through B. Braun Charity Run 2026, B. Braun Indonesia once again reaffirmed its commitment to creating shared value for the community. Every kilometer completed represented more than a journey toward better health. It became a collective step toward expanding educational opportunities and building a brighter future for children across Indonesia.
