“Clean Hands, Bright Future": B. Braun Indonesia Shares Expertise on Hand Hygiene with Hundreds of Students

In conjunction with Global Hand Hygiene Day, the elementary school students were shown how hand hygiene could impact their health and academic achievement.

Karawang, May 22, 2025 – Braun Indonesia, a world leading medical technology company headquartered in Germany, held a hand hygiene education event today at Kalihurip 1 Public Elementary School (SDN), Cikampek, Karawang, West Java, to commemorate Global Hand Hygiene Day, observed annually on May 5. The event is part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to make a positive impact in education and health. It involves the active participation of B. Braun Indonesia employees who aim to share expertise and instill good handwashing habits in the students from an early age.

A total of 350 students from SDN Kalihurip 1 received hands-on knowledge on the importance of upholding hand hygiene in preventing the spread of disease. B. Braun volunteers demonstrated how proper handwashing techniques could improve their health, highlighting the close relationship between hand hygiene, students' learning abilities and their academic achievements.
