B. Braun Supports Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon Through Its Surgical Sutures
B. Braun supports plastic and reconstructive surgeons with innovative surgical sutures, Optilene. Optilene is a sterile non-absorbable monofilament surgical suture made of polypropylene and polyethylene with superior smoothness and smaller tissue drag than polypropylene sutures.
Technological instruments and surgical sutures are supporting factors in increasing the speed and accuracy of the surgical process, thereby speeding up the wound healing process and producing minimal scars.
Microsurgery, which is a part of the discipline of plastic and reconstructive surgery, is a procedure that has been widely performed and currently the availability of technology and surgical sutures, especially for microsurgery, is still not very widespread in Indonesia. The quality of a product and advanced technological features are a solution in increasing the success of microsurgery surgery.
